Our Story
While attending Eastern Michigan University, majoring in business entrepreneurship, Quanie (founder/owner) maintained a job Catering for one of the top catering companies in Ann Arbor Michigan, at the University of Michigan. While gaining the knowledge and skill set, she was able to launch a venture in the catering industry in the summer of 2019 at the age of 19 years old. within the first 6 months, the business which gained great exposure came to a halt in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Not long after, a shuttle bus was granted with the potential of transitioning into a food truck in August of 2020. Having sat minimal savings and brainstorming, Quanie wanted to reach her audience on a smaller scale due to the mandatory covid shutdowns. Four months later, the process of building out the food truck began. Despite obstacles, Quanie gave birth to her first child in March of 2021 and one month later, Bigg Bites Street Food Truck was also born and opened to the public in April of 2021.

Having witnessed significant outcomes personally, we strive to highlight the advantages of being a standout presence in the food truck industry by merging the two aspects seamlessly.
